On Thursday, October 29th, Compass Prep will host its annual Halloween Costume Contest during lunch. Students are encouraged to dress up in costumes, so long as they aren’t inappropriate, violent, overly scary, or involving weapons. Teachers will judge for different categories that include Best Duo, Best Group, Most Creative, and Best Overall. Prizes in previous years have included snack bucks and bags of candy. Students are welcome to dress up on Tuesday as well.
Freshman Jameson Dawson dressed up as a clown for Tuesday and plans to wear the same costume on Thursday for the costume contest. He took inspiration from his love of clowns and sourced his outfit from Amazon.
